What is emotional intelligence?
Emotional intelligence is the ability to understand and control emotions. Examples of emotional intelligence are, being able to see and describe people's emotions, the ability to let go of mistakes, the ability to accept and go with change, showing empathy and to the feelings of other people etc.
What is the difference between EQ and IQ?
EQ is the ability to identify, evaluate and express emotions. IQ is a score that is derived from one of many standardized tests that evaluates your intelligence.
Why is EQ important
EQ is the ability to identify, understand, control and express emotions of yourself and of others. This means that you are able to relate and understand others. This can make you build relationships with people, organize a team and have a good work environment. This makes it crucial for being a good member in a business or group or even just a good friend.
